"Back to school...back to school...to prove to dad I am not a fool!" Alright, enough of the mid 90's comedy quotes, but it is that time of year again. This is my official message to parents to ask you all how you are doing so far lol. He's a gentle reminder. If you are coming to train in the morning or afternoon, give yourself some time to avoid the buses.

As we enter into Virgo Season, September is shaping up to be an exciting kick off to the fall. High school homecomings, college kids returning to their studies, and of course...BIRTHDAYS!!! Bree and Fed both have birthdays in September. If you see them, give them some birthday spankings lol.

We have some other exciting news for September. Some of you might have noticed this jacked young guy hanging around the facility with me lately. I am pleased to announce that Brian Koszer from Seattle University will be coming on as an intern this quarter! Originally from New York, Brian is a Jr in the Kinesiology program at Seattle U with aspirations of becoming a strength and conditioning coach. Yall be nice to him!

He's what else is going on in September

• September 12: I will be at the Lynnwood Comprehensive Planning Committee meeting at the Lynnwood City Council. This is a chance for us to hear about the direction of Lynnwood regarding expansion and other plans for the city.
• September 5-14: Fall athletes are in full swing with their first competitions of the year. We have been working with a ton of volleyball players over the summer, and their hard work has paid off! Several of the girls made their respected Varsity squads. Other fall sports include football, cross country, cheer, girls' soccer, and swimming. Good luck to you all this season!
• September 20 and September 27: Fed and Bree's birthday respectfully.
• September 20: Thank you for those who nominated Fed and Sound Sports Performance and Training for Businessman of the Year and Business of the Year respectively. The business didn't make it as a finalist, but Fed did make it as a finalist for Businessman of the Year. Lynnwood's first ever Community Service and Leadership Awards Gala takes place on September 20, and we will know who wins then!
