Our trainers are here to support you on your fitness and performance journey by holding you accountable to your goals, motivating you to be the best version of yourself, accurately recording your progress in your personal program folders, and keep you having fun while working hard along the way. Training Facility


Sound Sports Performance is a 3600 sq/ft strength and conditioning facility designed for not just the college athlete, but also the weekend warrior. We lift heavy, grunt loud, but also move with precision and control.

Not just a gym, a learning facility.

Our own and Owner/Head Trainer, Federick “Fed” Brooks, has been a practitioner as well as an educator.

His most recent credentials as an adjunct professor at Lake Washington Institute of Technology has qualified him to formally guide students and externs wishing to become a personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, or a group exercise instructor.

Fed is also a high school track and field specializing in sprints, hurdles, and relays. His knowledge as a Level 2 USA Track and Field Coach, Level 1 USA Weightlifting Coach, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) enables him to analyze biomechanics of running and strength training for any population.

As a United States Marine, Fed was a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor and Combat Conditioning Specialist. Post military service, he was a Muay Thai Fundamentals and Fitness Coach while actively competing in several sanctioned bouts at the local and national level.
