If you’re anything like me, you grew up tossing long ball with buddies in the backyard or shooting the rock with cousins. Maybe you just practiced pitch and catch with your lacrosse ball and stick or drove your parents mad by serving tennis ball against the barn door.

Imagine this. It's the bottom of the 9th inning, bases loaded, two-out, runners in scoring position, and your team is down by 1.Better yet, it's the 4th quarter, no timeouts remaining, down by six, and it's 60 yards to the end zone.Another situation:90 minutes have gone by on the pitch, 0-0 score, and now we come to the shootout.
